"Cooking for Others" is our 🆕 project in collab

"Cooking for Others" is our 🆕 project in collaboration with the English School. Once a month, the students🧑‍🎓of the Home Economics course will be in charge of the food delivery 📦🚛 for people in need in the city of Helsinki.

The last Wednesday we inaugurated the project with the first class, where the students prepared an Italian menu 🍝 with lasagne, focaccia and panna cotta. Each month a different theme and challenge will be posed to invite creativity🧑‍🍳 in the kitchen; as well as to take care of a well-laid table for both the students and the target families.

The project aims to share the transformative power💥of details, because it is through the little things that change happens 🤪

We close the "Share Your Christmas 2022" 🎄campaign with pride. Thanks to all the companies, institutions, young people, families, volunteers... who have made it possible for this Christmas to be special for so many children 👦🏽 👧🏻. With you, we have raised 3255€ that have been set aside to the Mi Pequeña Familia orphanage in Jalisco, Mexico and to the Soup Kitchen and Choir in Huancavelica, Peru.

Congratulations! 🎉Congratulations because with your generosity, you have managed to make that smile 😊 that you put when you joined the campaign, travel more than 10834km 🚀

Hellooo 👋🏻 From Living for Others (IYC Suomi) we want to present you the campaign “Share your Christmas”. 🎄
As every year, we have organized a solidarity project with the intention of facilitating people in need, to celebrate the Christmas holidays.

The aim of the campaign is to distribute gifts 🎁 to children 👧🏻👦🏽at risk of social exclusion.

How to collaborate? Very easy, go and check our website to see the establishments and institutions where you can go and buy your Christmas Ball🎄 If it’s far from you, contact us through our social media or you can do the direct donations with the information in the site.

All the profits of the campaign will be used directly for kids living in MIPEFAM orphanage (Mexico), Comedor Social of Huancavelica (Peru) and food support for families in need in Finland.
